Announcements for the week of Feb. 21
Missions Seminar
There will be another seminar this Saturday from 10am-12pm.
This week's speaker is Kate Masson.
She is an urban church developer right here in Toronto.
Mexico Short Term Mission Team
The team will be departing this Friday.
(Mexicana Airlines, MX887, Term. 1 at 8:05 am)
Team members are: Pastor Peter, Swan Im, Bryan Lee, Christian Lim,
Fabian Lim, Jamie Park, Bob Lyeo, and Sam Shin.
They will be building a home for a needing family, and constructing a chapel.
Please keep them in your prayers.
Sheek Gu Night - Next Sunday (Feb. 28)
Come out to try some delicious Japanese noodles.
We'll be going to Kenzo Japanese Noodle House.
The location should be just a bit south of Yonge & Steeles.
Join us for some good eating and fellowship.
UPDATE:
The sheek gu night is not happening anymore.
Don't worry! We planned something else instead.
After service, we will be streaming some Olympics.
The Canada vs. USA hockey game to be exact.
Stick around tomorrow to watch some hockey.

Ski / Snowboard Trip - THIS WEDNESDAY (Feb. 17)!!
Yes, the 3-day trip was canceled.
But in its place is the one-day trip to...Blue Mountain!

If you need ONLY LIFT TICKET - $30 (taxes included)
If you need ONLY EQUIP. RENTAL - $28 (taxes included)
If you only need a RIDE (you have your own equip. & lift ticket) - $5
If you need BOTH LIFT TICKET and RENTAL - $55
Some important things you really should remember:
- Meet at church at 8:30 am SHARP
- Eat breakfast at home before you come
- For lunch, either bring lunch money or pack your own
- Bring your student I.D. (or the prices above won't be valid)
- This is a given, but make sure you bring your money day of

Dodgeball Tournament
It will be held next Sunday (Feb. 21) from 4:30 - 8:00 in the gym.
Cost is $2 per person for $10 per team.
Don't worry, no wacky outfits required...unless you want to?

First off, I want to apologize to anyone who may have been constantly coming to this site for any updates and/or announcements and did not see any for the past few weeks. Don't worry, announcements will continue to be posted. There is no real excuse as to why nothing was posted, but from now on I will post updates as soon as I can. Once again, my apologies.

Missions Month Features
As you know, February is Missions Month here at YN.
Our Sunday speakers will address aspects of how we can be factors in God's plan for this world.
But not only Sundays are reserved for this purpose.
On Saturdays, Missions Seminars will be offered here in the EM Chapel
from 10am-12pm.
The seminars will be led by
- Professor Al Tizon (Feb 13)
- Kreg Mallow (Feb 20), and
- Kate Masson (Feb 27).
Timothy Project
The Timothy Project will take place during Lent (Feb. 17 - Easter Monday)
There will be an info session next Sunday after service for those interested in participating.
Reading Week Ski / Snowboard Fellowship
Date: Tues. Feb. 16 - Thurs. Feb. 18.
We will be skiing & snowboarding at Sir Sam's Ski Resort,
and staying at Shalom by the Lake.
Cost: $107
(This includes two nights lodging, five meals, lift ticket, and rental)
PLEASE note: Transportation will be provided for the first 24 paid registrants.
